This year, for one night only, Let’s Test’s experimental TestLab gives you the chance to re-enter your familiar testing world in the guise of an MMORPG raider.
This will be an evening of social, casual play – we welcome first timers, old-timers and oh-my-god-is-that-the-timers. You’ll need to bring your own computer with whatever tricks, tools and neat data you can cram onto it (this year, we’re not taking on corporate sponsorship for the client machines).
Forming teams around raid lieutenants, you’ll take on a variety of interdependent fantasy testing roles. Maybe you’ll put on one of the Six Thinking Hats, be guided by the Bartle Test (killer, achiever, socializer, explorer), take your spot in the classic trio of Tank, Healer, Damage Dealer, or let Lady Luck guide you towards the fun. You’ll get into the mêlée, take down new bosses and share out some sw33t l3wt via probabilistic DKP (we’ll test against a variety of targets and semi-randomly award praise).
Here’s a special call: If you feel that can lead a raggle-taggle team of some of the worlds finest funnest testers, we want you to be raid lieutenant. You’ll need a special briefing first, and we’re ready and waiting to hear from you.
We look forward to welcoming you to our not-so-Massively-Multiplayer-Online-(and-offline)-Role-Playing-TestLab.
